Zain Bhikha and Rashid Bhikha's Charity Challenge (About Zain Bhikha) - Did you know that 2 million children die every year simply because they have no clean water to drink? That’s over 5000 children every day…
Or that 1 in 6 people don’t have access to safe water…that’s about 20% of our population.
The Earth’s water crisis is escalating, and its devastating that so many people do not have access to life’s greatest necessity….. water. Every child deserves to grow up healthy and everyone should have access to clean, running water.
Together, we can do something about it. Together, we can make a difference…
And this is why I, Zain Bhikha with my son, Rashid Bhikha have decided to join hands with Islamic Relief’s ‘Water for Life’ project in Africa because that’s where we come from. But we decided that instead of just talking about it or singing about it, we have decided to do something we’ve never done before…to truly challenge ourselves and Cycle…but not just cycle…but cycle from VIETNAM TO CAMBODIA and that’s over 400 miles. So, this November 2012, we will be training hard and pushing through all our pain barriers to cycle more than 50 miles a day over a seven day period. BUT, We need your help! We need you to sponsor us so sponsor so that we can complete this challenge, raise enough funds and provide clean water to those who need it most..
So, please sponsor us today, it doesn’t matter what amount, big or small…you can make a difference…
